Death’s Gambit Review

Death’s Gambit is a challenging Action RPG set on a medieval world shrouded in mystery. Tortured by the immortal souls who call it home. Death’s Gambit is a hardcore 2D action platformer with rich RPG elements. Master the precise combat, utilizing a wide variety of weapons and abilities to confront the horrors that lurk deep within Siradon. The promise of immortality lies at the heart of Siradon. As Death’s right hand challenge the undying guardians of the realm and endure the eternal struggle to purge their souls. But what reward awaits a faithful servant of Death?

Gameplay:

I started the game and I was greeted with a short clip and then is loaded, the character screen. I had many choices to pick from like, Soldier, Assassin, Wizard, Noble, Sentinel, and Acolyte of The one that I went with was the wizard. I then had to pick what Item I would use from my selected soul and yet again I had my choices to pick from like, Vados Helm, Spellbinder’s Aura, Shield of Warding, Gaian Blood x5, Soul Stone x5, Crystal Bomb x8 and Rusty Charm. The one that I went with the Gaian Blood. The game as an expansive world to Explore, Through the tundra wastes of the Obsidian Vale, across the Sanguine city of Aldwynn, find yourself lost in the wonders of a kingdom set to ruin.

Every boss always represents a Challenge that will require you to think outside of the box. Scale their colossal sword, or maintain balance on a precarious platform, all while finding the right time to strike. Every weapon comes with its own set of abilities. Equip and arrange your equipment to find powerful synergies and combinations to create a build all of your own.

The in-game menus are very simple and easy to understand and navigate. When you press the Options button on the controller, the first thing you will see is your character stats and level on the left side of the menu, in the center you will see what your character is wearing and what weapons are equipped. To the right side of the menu, you will see the inventory, this is where the items that you have picked up during your journey. There is a talents page by press the R2 button on the controller. This is where you can upgrade your character to help you to succeed through the levels.

Graphics/Sound:

Wow, this game looks so good, The developers have created a beautiful world with its 2D Pixel feel and look. You can see that there have put in lots of love and care in creating this world. The Sound production in this game is another area where they have done a great job. The makes you feel that you are in a magical world full of stories.

Conclusion:

So what is my Conclusion? well, Death’s Gambit developed by White rabbit is a 2D pixel RPG Side-scroller and when I started playing I could not put the controller down I was having so much fun playing. The developers have created a beautiful world and I hope that the game is successful because the developers deserve the credit. So if you are a big fan of 2D pixel RPG Side-scroller you are really going to enjoy this game.
